Halfway into 2022, a lot of new anime are gearing up to make their explosive entrance.
From highly sought after sequels to adaptations of acclaimed manga, here are the most anticipated anime still to come in 2022:
Adapted from the light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara and illustrated by Oniku, The Devil is a Part-Timer! is an anime TV series directed by Daisuke Chishiki and produced by White Fox Studio, famous for works like Re:Zero and Steins; Gate.
One of the most beloved isekai anime of the last decade, The Devil is a Part-Timer! finally returns with a sequel, nearly nine years later. The first season of the anime ended in a battle between Sadao and Sariel, and the audience witnessed the development of the relationship between Sadao and Emi. Fans can expect the second season to be the exciting continuation of the manga, especially if the story follows the introduction of the golden apple child, who claims to be Sadao and Emi's daughter.
